About Andrei Maxian

Andrei Maxian is a passionate racer who consistently gives his best in every competition. Beyond racing, Andrei is also an avid football lover. He frequently plays football to maintain his physical fitness, which helps him stay in peak condition for racing both on national and international level.

The Buggy 1600 Class

In the Buggy 1600 class, Andrei’s vehicle combines the renowned Fast&Speed chassis with the powerful Suzuki Hayabusa engine. The Fast&Speed chassis, known for its lightweight yet durable construction, provides superior handling and agility. This chassis is a favorite among racers for its ability to endure the rigorous demands of high-speed competition while offering exceptional control and stability.

The Suzuki Hayabusa engine, originally designed for motorcycles, is famous for its impressive speed and reliability. Capable of producing over 200 horsepower, this engine is one of the most potent in its class, delivering exceptional performance and acceleration.

A Brief History of Fast & Speed

Fast & Speed was founded by Johnny Hakvoort, who started his racing career with the Moredo and Ruska buggies. Johnny drove the first Dutch and European championships with the low Beetle and won the first international autocross championship in the Netherlands in 1987. In 1987, he began building frames for other autocross drivers, and by 1989, Johnny became the European Champion. Despite a significant setback in 1991 when his building burned down, Johnny’s passion for autocross drove him to continue building cars, leading to notable successes in subsequent years.

To ensure Andrei’s vehicle performs at its peak, especially under the intense conditions of racing, PROTEX3 supplies a specialized water and corrosion inhibitor package mixture. This advanced coolant solution is designed to deliver the best protection against overheating and corrosion, ensuring the engine runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the race.
